Payment
Secure payment
Accepted payment methods
- Visa, Mastercard and American Express debit and credit cards, including prepaid cards on these networks;
- Apple Pay and Google Pay;
- Payment is taken in pounds sterling (GBP) at the time of ordering. No extra charge is applied depending on the payment method used.
How your card details are protected
- Payment is handled by Stripe Payments UK, Ltd., an electronic money institution authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and certified PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of certification in the card industry. Its affiliates Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland) and Stripe, Inc. (San Francisco, United States) respectively support euro-denominated payments (Stripe Payments Europe, authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland) and the underlying technical infrastructure.
- Your card details are entered in a form provided by Stripe and sent directly to its servers, encrypted (TLS 1.2 or higher). They never pass through our servers and we never store them. We only keep the transaction ID and the last four digits of the card, for customer service purposes.
- The whole site is served over HTTPS; a padlock is shown in your browser's address bar.
- Strong customer authentication (3-D Secure 2): in line with the Payment Services Regulations 2017, your bank may ask you to confirm payment in its app or with a one-time code.
- Automated fraud-prevention checks (Stripe Radar) review every transaction; if something looks unusual, we may ask you to confirm the order before dispatch, or cancel and refund it.
When are you charged?
The total amount (products + delivery) is charged when the order is confirmed. The description shown on your bank statement is "DRIFTLY". If an order is cancelled before dispatch, the charge is voided or refunded in full.
Disputing a payment
Before raising a dispute with your bank, contact us at contact@driftly-boutique.fr: most issues (late parcel, damaged product, duplicate charge) are resolved within a few days by refund or replacement, under the terms of our refund policy.
Personal data
Data processed by Stripe for payment and fraud prevention is described in our Privacy Policy and in Stripe's own privacy policy (https://stripe.com/gb/privacy).
